What is it?
The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018) is the new standard expected in electrical installation work. To continue to work in the domestic installation arena, you will need to complete this qualification. The City & Guilds 2392-18 (18th Edition) qualification is also suitable for registration as a Domestic Installer.
2 Day Fast Track
Suitable for people who regularly use BS7671 and have obtained the City & Guilds 2382 after January 2015. The course only covers the changes introduced in the 18th Edition. The examination covers both existing (as found in the 17th Edition) and new topics (introduced in the 18th Edition).
It is expected that this course will be suitable for people working as: Electrical Designers, Commissioning Engineers, and other job roles where BS7671 is regularly consulted.
4 Day Course
Suitable for people who have existing electrical installation qualifications and are working in the electrical installation industry. The course revises current wiring regulations (as found in the 17th Edition) and explores new topics (introduced in the 18th Edition). The examination covers both existing and new topics (introduced in the 18th Edition).
It is expected that this course will be suitable for people working as: Electricians, Technicians, Engineers and other job roles where a working knowledge of BS7671 is important.
