Over The Course Candidate's Will Cover The Following:
- Understanding of workplace responsibilities
- Understanding the effects of your work on the working environment
- Common hazards in the workplace
- Occupational health hazards
- Responding to emergencies
Energy & Utility Skills is a recognised Third Party Organisation (TPO) for CITB and the UK construction industry. This scheme is recognised by CITB for short course duration funding purposes and can be offered by ATOs. After completing the course you will receive an EUSR SHEA Virtual or plastic card dependant on what you select at the time of booking. The card is valid for 3 years. Individuals will access their virtual card through an app called Vircarda on smartphones and tablets. The digital card is also compatible with CSCS’ Smart Check app enabling registered individuals access to CSCS controlled sites.
The course comprised of 6 modules, covering the ‘core’ SHEA principles as well as 2 industry modules specific to the power industry.
- Module 1: Power generation and distribution (Scheme specific module)
- Module 2: Understanding our workplace responsibilities
- Module 3: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
- Module 4: Identifying and controlling risks
- Module 5: Common hazards in the workplace
- Module 6: Occupational health hazards
- Module 7: Power industry hazards (Scheme specific modules)
- Module 8: Responding to emergencies
One Day EUSR SHEA Courses Are For Individuals Requiring Access To Operational Sites, Or Those Looking To Renew Their EUSR Card.
Must be 16+ and Speak Fluent English and have the ability to read and write.
