WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOMESTIC INSTALLER AND A FULLY QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN?

There is often confusion around the difference between a domestic installer and a fully qualified electricians. A domestic installer is trained to carry out work on domestic properties whereas a fully qualified electrician can work on both commercial and domestic properties. After completion of the domestic installer course, you have the opportunity to contact a regulatory body such as NAPIT or NIC and register to become a competent installer after they inspect your work and it has been approved by the awarding body you can sign off your own electrical work.
